Item Description

This exceptional and rich small cabinet vanadinite is highlighted by the stunning, stout, skewed hexagonal, 2.3 x 1.6 x 1.3 cm, prism with a dramatic skeletal face. The very glassy and lustrous, partially translucent, rich brick-red vannies are beautifully accented with zones of yellow-orange fire. The small crystals set on the front of the large vannie add allure. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020. An outstanding small cabinet example of this varietal, priced at $1350 by the well-known former dealer, Horst Burkard, who imported my fine Moroccan vanadinites and other species. Classic and aesthetic Mibladen vanadinite of this varietal, source of the world's finest vanadinite specimens.
