Item Description

Vanadinite is as its best from Mibladen. Simply put, the finest examples of the species have been found at this locality for around 50 years. This piece is not your typical Vanadinite in terms of color, but the quality is superb. The crystals are remarkably lustrous and razor-sharp, but instead of the bright red hue that we're used to seeing, these crystals display a much more saturated reddish-brown color which transitions into a bright golden-orange hue in the smaller crystals. The largest Vanadinite measures 5 mm across and they are sitting on classic contrasting white bladed Barite matrix. VERY little damage and quite showy. From a prominent Midwest collection that we acquired over the summer.
