Vanadinite is probably not considered a rare mineral, but were it not for the pieces from the Mibladen District in Morocco, it would be MUCH harder to find on the market. There is no doubt that these Vanadinite specimens are and the pinnacle for the species. When someone mentions Vanadinite, most people conjure an image of a specimen from Mibladen in their minds. Of all the crystallized Vanadinite that has been found elsewhere, we haven't seen anything better for the last 50 years from anywhere outside of Mibladen. This gorgeous miniature specimen features fine, lustrous, rich red color, sharp, hexagonal crystals measuring up to 5 mm, sitting on matrix. Looking closely I can't find any major damage, maybe just a few TINY nicks. A great quality Vanadinite specimen from this world-famous locale.
