Moroccan vanadinites simply are the finest examples of the species extant. The best pieces still command a premium on the market, even though specimens are still being found to this day. This showy piece features a rich covering of excellent red, sharp, HIGHLY lustrous and partially gemmy, blocky, hexagonal crystals on sculptural matrix. The crystals on the backside have a preferential brown coating. A very good quality vanadinite specimen, in excellent condition, from finds 8-10 years ago from this most famous of localities. Valued at $500-650. These always brighten up a collection or display.
