Translucent, rich brick-red vanadinite prisms cover all sides of this adorable, mounded 360-degree small cabinet (or perhaps a largeish miniature size) plate from famous Mibladen. The highly lustrous hexagonal crystals, in variable sizes range from tabular to blocky in habit. The dramatic, large, dominating blocky compound crystal is 2.0 x 1.6 x 1.3 cm and has a striking golden-yellow core accented with skeletal features. The interesting elongated crystal next to the large crystal is 1.4 cm long. Both sides look great and the base is totally covered with small vanadinites. Mibladen is the world's premiere locality for vanadinite and is this an excellent and very aesthetic example of this variety.
