Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, brick-red, vanadinite barrels to 6 mm aesthetically cover the thin crust on this very fine miniature from a classic Arizona locale, better known for wulfenite specimens. These remain some of the finest vanadinites fround in the US. Very nearly pristine, with only one gently bruised crystal. Choice material from the Harold Urish Collection. He obtained this in a trade with a Bunker Hill pyromorphite with George Stevens in September, 1993 in Silver City, New Mexico.
