This is certainly one of the most fantastically sculptural Mibladen vanadinite miniatures we have offered at auction. The intergrown crystals on the sides give no inkling as to the dramatic forms on the front and back. The front is crowned by two amazingly hoppered crystals and the back has surreal stepped-growth crystals. The highly lustrous, glassy, translucent, brick-red crystals have beautiful flashes of yellow-orange gemminess. Complete all-around and in excellent shape. The back and one side are pristine. The bit of periphery wear along the left edge of the front and near the top on the other side are noted, but are certainly only modest detractions to this incredibly artistic piece.
