Item Description

Highly lustrous, brick-red, hexagonal, vanadinite prisms, to 1.0 cm, are aestheticaly clustered on the matrix plate on this showy and rich piece from the major finds around 2008. The crystals have gemmy sections with striking flashes of gemmy, yellow-orange fire. Some crystals have preferential iron oxide coatings on the prism faces. Essentially pristine, with only one crystal having a trivial out-of-sight edge bruise on the back side. The piece looks great from either direction. Classic and excellent material.
