Highly lustrous, brick-red, hexagonal, vanadinite prisms, to 1.7 cm, are aestheticaly clustered along the crest of the sculptural matrix on this showy and excellent piece from the major finds around 2008. The crystals have gemmy sections with striking flashes of gemmy, yellow-orange fire. The crystals have an iron oxide coating on the backside. Nearly pristine, with a trivial bit of edge wear to two crystals and one spot of contacting, with no damage, per se. Classic and excellent material.
