Gorgeous, mirror-bright, partially gemmy, brick-red vanadinite crystals with striking flashes of yellow-orange fire are richly and attractively scattered on three edges and one face of the large blocky matrix. The sharp, hexagonal, tabular crystals reach 1.2 cm. For such dense coverage,this piece is amazingly nearly pristine, with only a very few bruised crystals. This fine piece is from the 2009 find and is a highly representative and showy example of the species and new find and it won"t cost you an arm and leg.
