The stout hexagonal prisms, to 2.0 x 1.7 cm, have a unique to this find rich brick-red color saturation. High lustre, translucence and striking preferential skeletal and cogwheel forms dramatically amplify these stunning crystals. The densely intergrown geometric forms add to the beauty of the piece. Great skeletal crystals like this are a desirable characteristic for these Morocco Vanadinites as most pieces from here do not exhibit this feature (maybe 1 in 1000). The bit of attached is matrix is a nice contrast. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free.
