Item Description
Exotic and extraordinary two-sided miniature vanadinite from a 2001 find at famed Mibladen. The rich brick-red, lustrous piece is composed of numerous flattened, parallel-growth hexagonal and unusually shaped modified hexagonal crystals. The stunning large 2.2 cm crystal on the front has fantastic stairstep skeletal features and the front is remarkably 3-dimensional. The crystals on the back side are a richer red and more compact. Quite the contrast from front to back! The bit of attached white baryte is a typical accessory and fine contrast. Mibladen is easily the world's finest locality for the species.
