Item Description
Aesthetic and sculptural, flattened, two-sided arborescent cluster of parallel-growth, tabular, hexagonal vanadinite prisms from a major 2001 pocket find at Mibladen. The lustrous, translucent prisms have rich brick-red color. The skeletal terminations of the upper crystals resemble striking cogwheels. Complete all-around and in great shape, overall. A bruised upper left edge crystal on the front and modest periphery on one edge on the back are certainly minimal detractions to this exotic looking vanadinite. Mibladen is easily the world's finest locality for the species. See the fine 2013 Mineralogical Record article in Vol. 44, No. 3.
