Item Description

Scintillating, cherry-red, vanadinite barrels to 3 mm and an earlier generation of tiny, gemmy orange barrels are festooned on this very showy and fine specimen from the 1970s finds at this noted locale. All the crystals show striking flashes of yellow-orange gemminess under bright light. Drusy calcite covers a portion of the right side of the piece. The vannies may be small, but they are fine. They remind me of Mibladen vannies. Excellent material. Ex Harold Urish Collection.
