Very rich and attractive small cabinet from a 1997 find at this very well-known Arizona locale, near to the more highly famed Red Cloud Mine. Highly lustrous, translucent rich red to burnt-orange hexagonal vanadinite crystals, to 1.0 cm, are dramatically festooned on all four sides of the sculptural matrix. The larger barrels have hoppered terminations adding character and desirabilitiy to the piece. See the 1996 Mineralogical Record article in Vol. 27, No. 5. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020. Classic, very rich and excellent material with lots of sparkle from the well-known locale. Superb miniature for a USA collector!
