Vanadinite

Item Description

A showy small cabinet / large miniature sized piece of these distinctive Vanadinites, which for a time were labeled as "Endlichite", an arsenic-bearing variety, but I've seen posts that the arsenic content is actually negligible, and from what I can tell, every piece on mindat.org is simply listed as Vanadinite with no varietal identifier, so that's how we're leaving this one. The piece is loaded with attractive almost "silvery" colored hexagonal prisms measuring up to 5 mm on oxidized matrix. No major damage, and the crystals are beautiful under magnification.
