Item Description
The Pure Potential Mine is a fairly well-known locality, which lies about 1 mile away from the famous Red Cloud Mine. While it never produced many great Wulfenites like the Re Cloud, it is one of the great sources of Vanadinite crystals, certainly some of the best outside of Mibladen, Morocco. This is a classic and eye-catching specimen from this well-known locality featuring strong red color, glistening, brilliant crystals of hexagonal Vanadinite measuring up to about 4 mm on matrix. Most of the crystals are pristine, but I can see a handful of spots with tiny bruises. If you collect secondary ore minerals or specimens from Arizona, don't miss out on this showy and relatively hard to find classic.
