Item Description

Mibladen is famous for its Vanadinites, and this miniature elegantly well-represents the most famous style of the specimens from this great locality. The tabular, hexagonal crystals have very good luster on the terminations and superb luster on the prism faces, which greatly enhances the orange-red color. Larger crystals, up to 1.8 cm across, are translucent, while the smaller Vanadinites have a brownish tint. This tinting also extends to the 'back' of the crystals, creating an always-fascinating preferential effect. Striking and aesthetic, this cluster is in excellent condition.
