Item Description
Two clusters of variable brick-red vanadinite prisms are pleasingly set on the sculptural large mounded matrix on this very showy and excellent specimen from famed Mibladen. The textbook, hexagonal crystals, to 1.7 cm, are translucent, glassy and lustrous. Bright light reveals areas of beautiful yellow-orange fire. Very nearly pristine, you hardly notice the couple of smaller bruised crystals on the periphery of the larger cluster. An aesthetic large example of this varietal from easily the world's finest examples of the species. It is from the large, important pocket zone of 2008-2009.
