Item Description

Valentinite is uncommon antimony oxide. This spectacular large ore specimen hosts numerous vugs and caverns lined with glassy, colorless needles to 1.5 cm. The imposing horizontal vugs on both sides of the top host innumerable stibiconite needles. A very rich and impressive large combination piece from this classic and well-known abandoned Sb-mine. This dramatic, 360-degree hefty ore specimen displays well without aid. Ex G Brizzi (1982) and Art Soregaroli Collections. Rich ore at 1588 grams or 3.5 pounds mass.
