Item Description

A RARE combination specimen from this very obscure Sonora, Mexico locale, known for antimony and gold. Sparkly, silvery, platy native antimony hosts rich crusts and bladed clusters of straw-yellow valentinite. MINDAT does not list valentinite for the locale, making this a VERY RARE specimen. Older material from an East Coast collection and accompanied by a 1950s to 1960s label.
