Item Description

This is a fine example of the rare Antimony Oxide, Valentinite (Pronounced: Vah-LEN-tin-ite). The piece features sharp, lustrous, nearly colorless, gemmy/translucent prismatic crystals of Valentinite sitting atop massive Galena. This specimen was mined about 11 years ago, and I have not seen any more specimens from this mine since that time. The largest crystal measures 3 mm long, but the piece is more a reference specimen. Species collectors out there should jump on this one.
