A pristine and very cute intergrown thumbnail pair of classic V-twinned cerussite crystals from the renowned Mammoth Mine at Tiger. The glassy adamantine crystal crystals have fine smoky color. Specimens from Tiger are among the most desirable of all Arizona localities and this is a very fine old-time cerussite. The Art Montgomery label dates to the 1930s. Art was a famous American mineralogist, mineral collector and dealer, educator and philanthropist. Art partnered with renowned field collector Ed Over for some of greatest US finds ever in the 1930s. He died in 1999.
