A classic, striking and sculptural pair of broad V-twinned, elongated, hexagonal, nailhead calcite rhombs from famed Dal'negorsk. The terminated, lustrous, waxy luster mostly colorless crystals are lightly included with iron oxides, adding character. Complete all-around and pristine. Part of the out-of-sight back is contacted, but there is no damage, per se. Neon orange-pink fluorescence. Dal'negorsk, like Tsumeb, is famed for calcite diversity and quality and this is an excellent example. Ex Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection and valued by the former dealer at $695.
