Item Description

A cute and aesthetic small cabinet calcite from one the most famous single calcite finds of the modern era in China. These came out around 2000. There are four, striking, beautiful, glassy, translucent, stout, hematite-tinted V-twins on the sculptural matrix covered with small hematite-tinted calcite spikes. The dramatic large twin is 3.0 cm, tip to tip and all four are pristine. Specimens of this quality only come from recycled advanced collections. Ex Cynthia Payne Collection.
