Uvite Tourmaline with Quartz (interesting "floater" specimen)

This specimen features plenty of excellent quality, shortened/flattened gemmy green lustrous crystals of Uvite Tourmaline which are sitting on a good sized, sharp, lustrous, WATER CLEAR to translucent partially etched doubly-terminated Quartz crystal. The piece is a complete "floater" and doesn't look like any other specimen I've seen from Brumado. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the piece is the fact that some of the Uvites are actually included INSIDE the Quartz! The largest Uvite measures 9 mm across. The quality is great for the species and all of the Uvites are undamaged. A beautiful big cabinet display specimen of this rare Tourmaline species. Priced at $2000.
