This specimen features good quality, compressed, gemmy, reddish colored lustrous crystals of Uvite Tourmaline with sharp, translucent, rhombohedral white/colorless Magnesite crystals. A beautiful toenail of this rare Tourmaline species, and red is a rare color for Tourmaline regardless of species. From and old East Coast collection, accompanied by a early label from noted mineral dealer, Larry Conklin of New York.
