Tourmaline is beloved by collectors for its wide range of vivid colors. It is considered rare for Tourmaline from any locality to produce yellow or orange colored stones. Recently in Tanzania there was a find of superb Tourmaline which are now known as "Sunset Tourmaline". The rich warm hues seen in these gems makes these stones very enticing for collectors. This particular gem is a beautiful, very very slightly included gem with a lovely golden color and an "Oval Step" cut. More importantly, this stone actually shows a few "needle"-like inclusions of Rutile, which is extremely rare in our experience with the material, it's only the second Tourmaline included with Rutile that we've seen! It seems that these particular stones from Tanzania have quickly dried up from the market, and they are retailing for fairly high numbers with some dealers, so don't miss out on this fantastic Tourmaline of an uncommon color and a rare inclusions.
