Uvite (rare red variety)

Scintillating, gemmy and lustrous, dark cherry-red, uvite crystals comprise this very showy plate from Brumado. The variation in crystal sizes is noteworthy. The largest crystal is 9 mm. Pristine, with a few magnesite crystals on the back for accent. found in 2008, this is a much more rare variety than the green uvite seen from here
