Uvite (2 generations) w/ Magnesite

Item Description

Gemmy and lustrous, scintillating, forest-green uvite tourmaline crystals to 8 mm richly cover the matrix and are nicely accented by a few glassy magnesite rhombs. The crystals glow olive-green, when backlit. The density of uvites is way above average on this showy piece from the 1990s finds from the famous Brumado area of Brazil. A nice surprise is that the back is totally covered with another generation of smaller, totally gemmy, olive-green uvites. Classic and desirable material.
