Item Description
Mineral specimens of ANY variety are RARE from this obscure former chromite mine. The very colorful face of the large massive magnesiochromite hosts pods of bright, multi-hued green uvarovite crusts with sparkly, gemmy, emerald-green crystals. Lilac kammererite is a striking contrast to the uvarovite. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and from the Harry & Evelyn Hebel Collection, according to the label. Striking, rich, fine and rare combination material. A MUST for the locality or species collector. This is a true rarity - we have seen only one other for sale
