Item Description
Uvarovite is the uncommon chrome-rich Garnet Group varietal and is EXTREMELY RARE from the deposits near the renowned Dallas Gem Mine. Scintillating, gemmy, emerald-green crystals to about 1 mm richly cover the front and part of the back of the lustrous gray-black magnesiochromite ore matrix. Rare and desirable California material from the Bob Trimingham Collection and formerly in the Ed Oyler Collection, according to Bob's label.
