Item Description
The historic large chrome producing mine at Sarany was the source of some of the best specimens of Uvarovite Garnet for years. This small cabinet specimen hosts a druse of dozens if not hundreds of micro, sparkling, brilliant, rich chrome green Uvarovite crystals on chromite matrix. These particular specimens have become very hard to find on the market in recent years. We have photographed the crystals with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate their quality.
