Item Description

A beautiful toenail display specimen originally from Luiz Menezes featuring burnt orange semi-"rose"-esque spherical aggregates of the rare manganese iron phosphate Ushkovite which are partially coated by the equally rare calcium iron phosphate Dufrenite (dark greenish-black) sitting on a partial crystals of Smoky Quartz from Galiléia. I've only seen a handful of these specimens over the years, and if you collect rarities or phosphates, do not miss out on this one, because although Ushkovite is only found in about two dozen places in the world, the specimens from Galiléia are the only ones I know of which are associated with Dufrenite.
