Unusual Smoky Quartz xl w/ "hotspot"

A very unusual and showy partial smoky quartz crystal with a unique "hot spot" from Aracuai, Brazil. The sharp, water-clear, pseudohexagonal quartz crystal has a light smoky, partially sceptered termination above a colorless base. The protruding, darker, more highly irradiated "hot spot" is truly strange and facinating! Complete all-around, the termination is pristine. Modest contacting and periphery wear are noted on the display view. Embedded wine-red rutile blades are noted on the contacted back, but there is very minimal bruising there, overall. A very showy and uncommon smoky quartz crystal from Brazil.
