Unusual Smoky Quartz xl (Soregaroli Coll.)

Item Description

A highly unusual and showy, old-time smoky quartz crystal from an unknown Peaks Peak area locale. The sharp, tapered termination is water-clear, gem, with beautiful veils rich smoky color. The body of the very glassy crystal is transparent grading downward to translucent milky quartz. Complete all-around, the back of the tip is lightly dinged (mostly out-of-sight) and a trivial bit of edge and side wear is noted. Certainly not a detraction to this rare style of Colorado quartz.
