Item Description
These bizarre layered hexagonal quartz crystals are thought to form because of multiple growth inhibition by calcite. The calcite later dissoloved away and the crystal continued to grow. It looks man-made! These are certainly some of the most unusual quartz specimens, that have come from the famed deposits at Dal'negorsk. This outstanding and uncommon large terminated quartz is the finest we received in the small lot from the Richard Hauck Quartz Collection and includes mint-green prehnite in the base. A surreal 360-degree quartz.
