Item Description

We are selling a small parcel of unusual locality gems we sold and recently obtained back from a customer and this set might interest people who collect minerals and localities as Pearl is indeed a valid mineral species and this is USA origin. These are completely natural (cultured) freshwater pearl from Tennessee! I didn't believe it when I first saw it, but these pearls are so famous, that they are the official state gemstone of Tennessee. They come from an embayment along Kentucky Lake in Western Tennessee. These pearls are cultured/grown in what is the ONLY freshwater pearl-culturing farm operation in North America. With that said, this is one-of-a-kind set of baroque pearls for their unique shape and size! I love the beautiful iridescent sheen on the surface, which reflect pastel pink and green hues. These pearls have such as distinctive form, they would make for a fantastic set of earrings, or a great matched set to add to any gem collection. 3.88 carats total
