Item Description

A very showy and highly unusual nested calcite twin from the Trap Rock quarries of Essex County. The highly lustrous, translucent, amber crystal with frosted and striated faces has striking symmetry on one side. Complete all-around and pristine, except for the bit of periphery wear. Choice and rare calcite from the Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection. Valued by the former dealer at $295.
