Item Description
This matrix plate composed of glassy and gemmy, lemon-yellow sulfur crystals, to 5 mm across, sparkles like yellow jewels! I believe that this is an old and obscure Nevada locality for sulfur (as confirmed by the district it lies in), but I have not personally seen material with the locality attribution before. It has an older label from John Seibel, who is a well known self-collector and dealer in California and Nevada, so I do trust the location label completely. Nevertheless, here it is, and it is indeed somewhat different from other Nevada sulfurs I have seen. Unusual, big, and pretty!
