Unusual Goethite stalactite (RARE)

Item Description

A RARE and unique looking goethite specimen from Ruyuan County, noted for very fine fluorite and quartz combinations. This dramatic large stalactite looks like an elongated cluster of seed pods attached to its stem! The striking variably-sized nubby botryoids are lustrous with brown color. Both ends are contacted. A fantastic looking plant-like goethite specimen. We saw these only once in China, a few years ago.
