Unusual Fluorite w/ Calcite (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

A highly unusual and showy fluorite specimen from an unknown Chihuahua locale. Transluent, reddish-brown to dark purple rounded fluorite crystals with frosted faces cover the matrix. The rich sprinkling of clusters of calcite rhombs and botryoids is a super accent to this rare combination from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Purchased in 1967 during the height of imports from Mexico. A must for the species or locality collector.
