Unusual Fluorite octahedrons on Quartz (Soregaroli Coll.)

Item Description

A striking, stacked, tapered cluster of opaque, lustrous, very dark purple fluorite octahedrons from near Mapimi. It looks just a Kalahari hausmannite specimen and rests on a bed of quartz crystals. Complete all-around and pristine. This came from an expert on Mexican minerals. A perhaps unique style of Mapimi fluorite. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
