A surreal looking and unique morganite miniature from the Little Three Mine. Morganite is RARE from the famous Little Three Mine, which has produced some of the North America's finest spessartine as well as (less commonly) natural blue topaz crystals and excellent tourmaline, schorl and smoky quartz specimens. This pristine, dramatic looking, glassy, lustrous, gemmy to translucent, textbook hexagonal, pastel-pink crystal is fantastically etched with a deep cavity in the interior. Every turn presents a different aspect to the severe etching, while the exterior of the crystal is mostly there. 17 grams mass. This exotic and RARE style morganite is from 1980s finds at the mine.
