A surreal, colorful and most unusual gemmy red-violet tourmaline from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. This striking, very glassy, well-striated trigonal crystal is doubly terminated. The interior of the upper termination has been heavily etched, leaving only striking portions of the gem walls! The crystal is technically doubly terminated, as the lower broken end is totally healed over with dense stepped-growth. A fantastic, fascinating and rare style red gem tourmaline from this renowned locale. Pristine. 30 grams mass.
