Item Description
A very weird, surprising and unusual heavily etched bi-colored tourmaline from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. The front of the gemmy and lustrous crystal looks perfectly normal. The gemmy and highly lustrous, variable olive-green body is followed by a 5 mm pretty gem teal-greem section below the glassy deep purple termination. Wow, is the back different! It's totally etched out at the base leaving a shell-like curved inner surface below the strangely etched needle-like termination area. VERY unusual pocket chemistry here! Rare style old-time Cruzeiro. 10 grams mass.
