Item Description

A sculptural and very interesting large doubly terminated calcite from this well-known Santa Eulalia mine. The narrow end is composed of small, very glassy, tabular, colorless rhombs. The striking bulbous end is composed of much larger, intergrown, tabular forms included with gray iron oxides. A few scattered smaller, colorless rhombs are a nifty accent. Both terminations are pristine. Complete all-around, the contact on the back is totally out-of-sight. It looks like a stalactite, but it's not!
