Item Description
A striking, highly unusual, doubly terminated, bi-colored tourmaline from the Himalaya Mine. The terminations couldn't be anymore different! One sloped termination has furrows and grayish-purple color, while the super-steep termination is totally gem, olive-green! The body of this gemmy and lustrous, well-striated beauty is classic "Himalaya pink". The nifty sidecar crystal is exactly the same! Complete all-around. The purple termination has a modest bit of edge wear. The gem termination has a dinged edge and a modest bit of edge wear. A very rare and showy style of bi-colored tourmaline. Ex Bill Larson/Pala Properites San Diego County Collection and was for many years on display at the Fallbrook store. 37 grams. Valued at $750.
