Unusual Dioptase on Calcite

Item Description

Sparkling, very gemmy and lustrous, emerald-green dioptase crystals to 6 mm are richly and attractively clustered on one side and the base of the tapered wedge of calcite matrix. The other side of the rib is a MAJOR surprise, as it is totally covered with absolutely scintillating, tiny, gem dioptase crystals! This stunning and very fine, two-sided Tsumeb piece displays well from both sides without aid and is esssentially pristine. The crystals are not large, but the quality is high.
