Unusual Calcite on Fluorite (Larry Krause)

Item Description

These are certainly some of the most unusual looking calcites on fluorite from China, that we have seen. The very sharp rhombs, to 2.5 cm, have some faces preferentially coated with lustrous, black oxides, while other faces are coated a lustrous, grayish-white. The rhombs are elegantly set on glassy, water-clear, pastel-green, fluorite cubes. Striking and unusal combination material from Hunan Province and the Larry Krause dealer stock.
